Just wandering around the narrow streets of Bratislava old town is enjoyable in itself. It also houses many good restaurants and bars. Bratislava Castle (1 km) - Enjoy the views across the city from this castle which also houses some interesting museums. Slovak National Museum (700 metres) - Discover the history and culture of this recently independent country. Cerveny Kamen Castle (35 km) - One of Slovakia's best preserved castles, this was built in the 13th century and can be easily seen on a day trip.
